Lifestyle Portrait for Sam and her Family

What does it take to have a successful portrait session? I would say it’s a combination of the skill of the photographer in capturing the personality of the people involved, the attitude of the people involved and to a certain extent the weather when you are on location! Happily, that combination came together nicely when I photographed Sam and her family recently. Nervous at first they were amazed at what could be achieved in such an ordinary location with minimal direction. Sam loved the images enthusing ‘you were absolutely fantastic, and with such a big group of us, you did an amazing job!’
